Opening with a difference
Having remained closed in 2020 due to Covid restrictions, Acton Court has had a very successful 2021 summer season.
We worked with Friends of Acton Court to enable a different experience for visitors this year. The usual Blue Badge guides recorded audio tours and Tuch created portable signage and interpretation graphics for the house and grounds.
The interior graphics were printed on a canvas material and arist in residence Lisa Kopper wrapper these over some of her paintings which were then leant against the walls. We also produced lectern graphics and an A5 leaflet.
The website was reworked so visitors could listen to extracts of the audio tours and book timed tour tickets and admission to the Heritage Open Day online via Eventbrite.
The new system worked well and it is likely openings will continue in this way in future years.
